This is true. I have a wardrobe full of brightly coloured patterned things which don't go together. I buy them in moments of optimism and then wonder why. I once read that people tend to buy brighter things when on holiday-or more adventurous things than they normally would-I suppose because they feel released from the hum-drum day to day life. Some examples from my wardrobe-a bright lime green mac and a bright rainbow stripe jumper-both from New York.
Isn't this yellow headache inducing? The more I look at it, the more I think so!

you and i must be twins! i do this all the time. the bright stuff is so happy on the eye, but it is not easy to wear. black is easy and always looks good. i call it my "school colors," - it is my go-to uniform when i don't know what else to do!

great page!

So happy to find your blog. YOur sketchbook pages are wonderful. I too, often end up wearing black or brown but always go to brightly colored patterns, perhaps it is who I would like to be, but I am just not that brave(:
HAve a great Sunday!

I am drawn to colours but wonder if I should wear more black, especially when nothing matches!
